Terms of service
Last updated: 10 October 2026.
Who it’s for
Keep44 provides services to businesses, public bodies and professionals, for their business. It is not a consumer service. If you still sign up as a consumer, you keep all the rights the law gives you.
What Keep44 offers
- Diagnosis: a report on whether a Base44 app can run on your infrastructure, how, and what it costs. $500.
- Migration: the app on your infrastructure, with data migrated and documented. From $5,000.
- Base44 Connection: every change made in Base44 reaches your server, reviewed and backed up first. From $300 per month.
- Guides and self-check: free and for information only. They are neither a diagnosis nor legal advice.
“From” is the starting price. The binding price is the one in the written proposal you accept. Clients in the European Union are quoted in euros.
How you sign up
- Booking or taking the self-check is not a contract and doesn’t commit you to pay.
- Keep44 emails you the scope, price, timeline and payment terms.
- The contract exists once you accept that proposal in writing (an email is enough). For the migration, a service agreement is also signed and, if personal data is involved, a data processing agreement.
Payment and taxes
The diagnosis is paid when you accept the scope, against an invoice. The migration is paid in milestones as set out in the proposal. The Base44 Connection is paid monthly in advance. Prices exclude taxes: the invoice applies whatever tax rules correspond to the client’s country.
Timelines
The diagnosis report is delivered within 5 business days after Keep44 has the code export and the 30-minute call has taken place. If anything will delay it, you’ll get an email with the new date before the deadline.
What’s needed from you
- The code export or read access to the repository, and the list of entities and fields.
- A Base44 plan that allows code export (Builder or higher).
- 30 minutes with someone who knows the infrastructure and, for the migration, an environment to install on and an IT contact.
The diagnosis doesn’t need your Base44 account or real data.
Keep44’s commitments
- Do the work with professional care and within the agreed scope.
- During the migration, keep the Base44 version live until you validate the new one.
- For the Connection, back up before every change and keep a way back available.
- Deliver documented code, installation and operations guide.
What depends on third parties
Base44 may change its platform, export, prices or terms, and Keep44 doesn’t control those changes. If one breaks the sync, Keep44 tells you and proposes a fix; if it needs work outside the scope, it’s quoted separately. The migrated app keeps running on your servers even if Base44 changes.
Ownership
The app and your data are always yours. Once paid, so are the code and documentation made for your app. Keep44 keeps its generic tools and scripts and gives you a perpetual, free, non-exclusive licence to use and modify them with that app.
Confidentiality and data
Whatever you share is treated as confidential, and an NDA is signed if you ask. Keep44 won’t publish your name or screenshots without written permission. If the migration requires handling personal data, a data processing agreement is signed first; there’s also a mode where your IT runs the migration without Keep44 seeing the data.
Liability
Keep44 is liable for damage caused by breaching what was agreed. Except for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, total liability per engagement is limited to what was paid for it (for the Connection, the fees of the last 12 months). It doesn’t cover lost profits or indirect damage, or failures of Base44, your infrastructure or changes made by third parties.
Cancellation and guarantees
The published guarantees (diagnosis refund, migration credit, Base44 version live until validated, and the app keeps running if you stop the Connection) and how to cancel each service are in the refund policy.
Changes to these terms
Each engagement follows the version in force on the day you accept the proposal.
Governing law
Spanish law. Disputes with businesses go to the courts of Barcelona, Spain; consumers can use the courts where they live. Owner details are in the legal notice.
