Build in Base44.Ship to your own servers.

Every change reaches production with a backup, and your data never leaves your network.

Your app works. The problem is where it lives.

Someone on your team built an app in Base44 in a couple of weeks. People use it and save hours. Then comes the question: where’s the data?

Base44 lets you export the UI, but the database, users and logic stay on their servers. So IT usually picks between two bad options:

Option 1

Block it

The app stops being used.

The team goes back to spreadsheets and loses what it gained
Option 2

Rebuild it, or move it once to another cloud

A new project for something that already worked.

Months of work, and it can no longer be changed in Base44

5,000of 380,000 apps

If nobody decides, the app stays in use with company data outside your control. In May 2026, an analysis of 380,000 AI-built apps (Lovable, Replit, Base44…) found around 5,000 exposing corporate data.

There’s a third option

Hybrid model

Your team keeps building. IT keeps control.

01

Your team stays in Base44

Screens, fields and flows change as usual, with test data. No tickets, no waiting.

Will they need to learn to code? No. They keep working exactly the same way.

02

Changes reach production without rewriting anything

They’re detected and applied on your server after a backup.

What if a change breaks something? It rolls back to the previous version. And if you want, IT reviews each change before it goes live.

03

Data never leaves your infrastructure

Your own database (SQL Server, PostgreSQL…) and sign-in with company accounts: when someone leaves, they lose access.

Who else sees the data?Nobody outside. Not Base44, not Keep44: it lives on your infrastructure.

04

And it integrates with your systems

Inside your network, the app can read and write to SAP (OData) or your databases without opening your firewall to the internet.

What each side gets

If you’re in IT

You say yes without signing off on a risk.

  • Data on your infrastructure, inside your backups.
  • Company accounts and control over who gets in.
  • Everything documented: code, install and operations guide.
  • You give the business a safe answer to what it asks for.

If you built the app

It goes from experiment to official tool.

  • You keep improving it in Base44, as you do now.
  • Nobody asks you to rebuild it or wait for a months-long project.
  • It can connect to SAP and the company’s real data.
  • You bring IT a concrete proposal, not a problem.

Not a fit if EU data residency is enough (Base44 offers it on its Enterprise plan), if you want to leave Base44 for good for Vercel or Supabase (there are services for that), or if the app is still a prototype nobody relies on.

Built on a real migration.

Keep44 comes from real migrations: Base44 apps moved onto a company’s Windows infrastructure (IIS and SQL Server), one of them in daily use inside its network. That’s where the diagnosis starts: what stays behind in Base44 when you export, what has to be rebuilt, and what IT will ask.

Diagnosis

In 5 business days you’ll know if your app can live in your network, how, and what it costs.

A report you can take straight to whoever has to approve it

  • A yes, a no, or a “yes, if…”, and why.

  • What needs to move: entities, functions, integrations and Base44 dependencies.

  • How it would look in your environment: server, database, access and network.

  • The risks and what IT needs to prepare.

  • A fixed price for the migration and maintenance.

What it takes

  • The code export (or read access to the GitHub repo).
  • The list of entities and fields.
  • 30 minutes with someone who knows the infrastructure.

Your Base44 account and real data aren’t needed.

What each step costs

The final migration price is set in writing after the diagnosis and before any work starts.

Step 1

Diagnosis

€450 + VAT

Whether it can be done, how, and what it costs, in 2 business days.

  • A report with a yes, a no or a “yes, if…”
  • Scope, risks and what IT needs to prepare
  • Fixed price for the migration and maintenance

GuaranteeFully credited if you go ahead with the migration.

Step 2

Migration

from €4,500 + VAT

The app on your infrastructure, with the data migrated and sign-in with company accounts.

  • Code, installation and operations guide
  • Sync with Base44 up and running
  • Backup beforehand and a way back

GuaranteeThe Base44 version stays live until the new one is validated.

Step 3

Maintenance

from €250 /month + VAT

Changes made in Base44 keep reaching production.

  • Change synchronisation
  • Updates and backups
  • Support

GuaranteeIf you stop, the app keeps running on your servers.

An ordinary day after the migration

Someone asks for a new field. It’s added in Base44 that same morning and reaches production with the next sync, backed up. The data is still on your server, with no months-long project.

Getting started commits you to nothing.

Booking costs nothing. The diagnosis is fully credited if you go ahead with the migration, and if the report doesn’t make the next step clear, you don’t pay.

Anything else you might wonder

Why isn’t Base44’s export enough?

It only includes the UI. Without the database, users and server functions, the app won’t start outside Base44. That’s what the migration rebuilds.

What happens to the data already in Base44?

It’s migrated once into your database. From then on, real data lives only on your infrastructure.

What infrastructure does it run on?

Windows Server with IIS and SQL Server, or Linux with Docker and PostgreSQL, on your servers or in your own cloud (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

Do we need downtime?

No. The Base44 version stays live until the new one is validated.

What if my app uses Base44 features with no equivalent?

For example built-in AI, email sending or some integrations. The diagnosis flags it and proposes an alternative, or puts it out of scope in writing, before you pay anything for the migration.

Do I need a paid Base44 plan?

To export the code, yes (Builder or higher). The diagnosis checks it.

What if I stop paying for maintenance?

The app keeps running: it’s on your servers and documented. You just stop getting the sync and support.

Does it work outside Spain?

Yes, in English and Spanish, remotely.

Book your diagnosis

Where do you want to host the app?
