Your app works. The problem is getting it approved.
Someone on your team built an app in Base44 in a couple of weeks. People use it every day. Then IT or the CISO asks: where does the data live, who can sign in, and can it run on the internal network?
Base44 has no on-premise option, and its export covers the UI only: the database, users and logic stay on its servers. So IT usually picks between two bad options:
5,000of 380,000 apps
If nobody decides, the app stays in use with company data outside your control. In May 2026, an analysis of 380,000 AI-built apps (Lovable, Replit, Base44…) found around 5,000 exposing corporate data.
